1. Am I required to have a AMA or ATVA card?
All OXC races are AMA / ATVA sanctioned. This requires all participants to have a competition card from either the AMA or ATVA. These can either be purchased online or at the event prior to the race. AMA / ATVA cards are good for one year. Call 866 ATVA JOIN or go to www.atvaonline.com.
2. What are the costs associated with the series?
- Entry fees are Pro $45, $25 for Peewee/Women and $35 for all other classes.
- Racers must purchase ATVA/AMA Card (good for 1 year & other series)
- Gate fees are $5 per person.
- RFID Cards can be purchased at the race for a $10 deposit. (old HBGP & MHSC cards will also work)
3. Will there be any throw-aways?
- Yes, There will be 1 throw-away for the 2008 season.
4. What are the sign-up times?
- Registration begins the day of the race at 8:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm
5. Is there Pre-Registration?
- Not at this time. Please purchase your AMA/ATVA card prior to the race.
6. What safety gear is required?
- All riders must have a helmet, goggles, gloves, pants, long-sleeve shirt and boots that go over the ankles. Kill switches are also required.
7. How long is each race?
- This depends on the class you enter. All races are run as close to the following total times as possible:
- Adult ATV’s: Approximately 90 Minutes
- Peewee/Womens: Approximately 20-30 Minutes
8. What is the starting procedure?
-Dead engine on the atv.
-Peewee will be live engine on the atv
9. Do you accept checks or credit cards?
- cash only the day of the race.
10. What type of scoring system will be used?
- Electronic scoring with a rfid card that can purchased at the track for $10 (old HBGP & MHSC cards will work).
-Peewee classes will be hand scored and will not require rfid cards.
